Living the Ice Cream Dream and a FREEBIE

We are down to the last 6 days in second grade and I don’t know about you, but I like to squeeze in as much learning as possible. Not only for the kiddos…but for my sanity as well! There is just something about a schedule that makes the day go by so much faster! If you are in survival mode, this sweet treat may be just for you!!!!

To keep things light and fluffy this week {while getting in lots of review…shhh don’t tell the kids} we are getting into all things ice cream! Check out a few of the things that we will be doing this week while living the ice cream dream and scroll on down for a tasty freebie!

  10. Hope...How in the world do you get all of you cutesy displays done? Do you cut them out ahead of time or have a machine or parent that cuts them out? I look at your blog all the time and I am in AWE of the things you have going on in your classroom. Let me in on the secret!!

    3. Jennifer...my super awesome secret is my amazing parent/grandparent volunteers (I hunt them down!!!!!), wonderful student teacher, high school cross country girls, and a super crafty mom! I will say that I am always cutting as well (recess, related arts, during morning work, etc). I try to have all activities precut so that we use the least amount of instructional time possible, but the kiddos just love the end results! It makes them feel accomplished and proud! Don't you just wish there could be a classroom fairy to get all of this "stuff" done???
