I’m Back! {exhausted…but back!}

Shew! This girl is tired! I took a four hour nap and am still feeling the lack of sleep over the past few days! But it was oh so worth every single second! Vegas was so amazing, and I had the BEST time with some wonderful ladies! I haven’t laughed that hard or that much in quite some time! Here is a little sneak peek that I stole from sweet Cheryl!

Meet-up

Love, love, LOVE them! What an unforgettable group of friends!

Now that I am back, I must get into my classroom! I leave for a cruise on the 4th and school starts the 14th! I am definitely starting to feel the crunch! I have a list a mile long, including activities that are in the works for my new third graders!

This is what is currently pulled up on my computer!

Can we say teacher ADD?!? Focus, Hope…Focus! Does anyone else struggle with similar issues?

I am hoping to have all of this fun ready for you this week, plus a few more giveaways, and classroom décor ideas!  I need to get this show on the road! ;)

I hope that you are all soaking up this amazing summer!

  1. Oooh, it all looks great! I am the same though. I am currently working on creating some new borders/frames/backgrounds, some themed literacy/numeracy activities AND my own planning for school next week...I can't help it! Ps SUPER jealous of the Vegas meet-up. Australia is too far away!!! :(

  3. Loved, loved, LOVED meeting you! Vegas 2012 will go down as one of my best vacations ever. And . . . the hubs and I managed to get on an amazing blackjack run that night after the meet up. We played until after 3 and paid for our trip! Meeting rock star bloggers and winning oodles of cash . . . uh, yeah . . . I guess it was worth my time :)

  6. LOve! I think many of us are plagued with teacher ADD! I work on a few too many things at one time! Wish I had more focus.
    Enjoy the cruise!

  7. I always have at least 2 {many times more} "projects" minimized on my computer. That, and about 23982 windows open!

    Vegas and a cruise? Can you say jealous?

  8. YES! As I'm working on one thing, I'm actually thinking of other things I want to start working on sometimes. As I wait for things to download, I'll start doing five other things. I think teacher ADD actually helps me though. It makes me productive, but drives my husband crazy I think. Ha! :) Your stuff looks amazing as always!

  9. It was such a sweet treat meeting you this week!! Thanks so much for taking the time to chat with all of us, it truly made my night! I am trying to get myself into focus mode over here too. We go back on the 13th, which I realized yesterday is officially one month away - yikes! Summer days sure do fly when there is so much fun to be had :) Thanks again!!
