Calling All Carolina Bloggers…

SC Meet-Up Poster

I am so ridiculously excited to announce that we are planning a big ol’ Carolina meet-up…y’all! ;) And no…not just for bloggers…stalkers other teacher friends are welcome to join! :) We are planning on meeting at some delicious restaurant where we can gab for a few hours about all things school! Poor people won’t know what hit them! I better call ahead! ;) I can’t wait to meet everyone!! I have been to several meet-ups and they are always way too much fun and NEVER enough time! I am sure that this meet-up won’t let me down!

So, If you will be in the Columbia area on September 15, I would love to see you there! I know this is still 2 months away, and we are still in the beginning stages of planning, but I wanted to give you PA-LENTY of time to put it on your calendar! Time and location will be announced once we have a general idea of how many people to expect.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED…

Please leave a comment in the comment section of my blog below. Make sure that you include your name and an email address where you can be contacted!

Is it bad that I am already excited?!? Love my blogging/blog stalker buddies! :)

  13. Oh my goodness! I am beyond excited about this meet-up! Even though I just recently joined the real teacher blog world, I have been "teacher blog stalking" for over year while I had my college teaching blog, "Adventures of a Future Teacher". Now that I am officially a teacher, I am excited to be an active part of the teacher blog world. I live in Winston Salem, NC.. so about 2 hours. I would love to come to Columbia for the meet up and get to meet all the wonderful teachers out there!

    Count me in!

  46. I have totally been wanting to do a blogger meet-up forever! I been following a bunch of blogs for a long time and only recently started my own. I was so excited and then checked my calendar :-( I have a Brad Paisley concert that night. I love going to concerts but now I'm actually disappointed about it. I also missed the Georgia one in the spring because I was away on spring break. I hope everyone has a great time and that another southeast one comes together some time soon.

  75. Ok so I am not a teacher from SC, but I do have family moving to the area around Charlotte...they were told Fort Mill school district is very family-oriented. There are several schools there. Is any one school better than another? Class sizes? Their child is coming from a small town in Wyoming and want to make it a smooth transition. She is an incoming 1st grader. I also teach 1st grade in Wyoming and follow many of your blogs. Do you know anyone that teaches at any of the schools there? is there a different area that might be better? His work will be in Charlotte or close by. Anything else they should know or find helpful? Thanks so much! Vegas rocks! My email is [email protected] or I am on Facebook...Lori Carlson, Lander, WY
